Tuesday 8 September 2015

Paw Pals MD Susie Cooke completed the 27 mile TrekFest across the Peak District in just 10 hours.

The Trek started and finished in the Hope Valley, near the village of Castleton.

It took the walkers for a few miles along the Pennine Way, including beautiful Kinder and Edale, before dropping down steeply to the town of Hayfield.

Then, following the Pennine Bridleway for many miles, the route took them back to the Peak Forest across the beautiful countryside before returning back to the Hope Valley again.

Views on TrekFest

The weather was very kind! Just perfect for walking and to appreciate the many wonderful views of the area.

At the finish line, walkers were congratulated with a medal and a glass of bubbles!
