Paw Pals Romford is owned by Paul Wright from Harold Hill and offers pet sitting and dog walking services throughout the region.

Formerly a commercial manager with HSBC, Paul's career change came about after a holiday in Turkey where he spent two weeks with wife Mandy nursing a poorly stray cat back to health. Not only did the couple take in and care for the affectionately named ‘Popeye' but they also found themselves paying for all his vets bills and then turning their attention to many of the other bedraggled cats in the area who were in desperate need of some TLC!

Having a holiday home and good neighbours in Turkey means their newly adopted feline friends are never left without care and attention, which is exactly what Paul wants for your four legged, feathered or finned friends! As Paul has a passion for all pets, each animal can expect 5 star treatment!

At home in Romford, Paul has two cats, Stan & Eric, who look forward to welcoming their new friends to Paul's small animal hotel, the perfect place to house your rabbits or guinea pigs. Of course, any pet can also be visited in their own home as many times a day as required to make sure your time apart from your beloved companion is stress free for you all.

Paul has achieved a Distinction in a professional pet sitting qualification from COAPE - the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology, covering pet first aid, nutrition, behaviour and pet care legislation. 

Paul is police-checked, fully insured to care for pets in your home or his and is a member of Pet Sitters International – all providing that extra peace of mind that your home and pets are in the best possible hands.

Usually when we go away my parents look after our cats for us, but this holiday they were coming with us, and we don't know our neighbours well enough to ask them, so we started looking around for an alternative. We came across Paw Pals, and we're so glad we did! From the first meeting with you, where we shared information on our cats' habits, likes and dislikes, we felt reassured - Charlie jumped onto Mandy's lap and purred, and we knew they'd be in safe hands!
 
It was so great to receive regular texts and emails while we were away, telling us how our cats were doing. The first line - "Your babies are both fine" - reassured us, and the rest of the message went on to tell us what they'd been up to. Sometimes you even included photos, which was lovely! We felt constantly reassured that our pets were being well looked after, and it really helped us to relax and have a wonderful holiday.
 
The extra touches of your service - taking the leftovers away with you so there were no unpleasant smells waiting in our bin when we got home, and Mandy taking some cooked chicken round for them on New Year's Day - were just the icing on the cake as far as we were concerned.
 
We will certainly be booking you the next time we go on holiday, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone - it really was a first class service and worth every penny."
