Welcome to Paw Pals Sheffield!
Est. June 2008
Owned by Jacky Perriam of Waterthorpe, Paw Pals Sheffield provides a bespoke pet sitting and dog walking service for all your pet care requirements. Even the most fussy of four legged friends will feel content and loved by Paw Pal Jacky!

Jacky has spent a lifetime dedicated to the care and protection of animals. Formerly a warden of the Sheffield Cats Shelter and a voluntary dog walker for the Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, Jacky is very experienced in all aspects of pet care.
Jacky is also the owner of 5 cats, 2 fish, 2 rescue bunnies and Izzy her lovely German Shepherd/Border Collie. She has recently returned from a Kenyan safari and is hoping to return one day to volunteer with the rangers taking care of big cats and elephants!
Jacky will be joined by her partner Jon during busy periods and both are CRB/police-checked respectively and are fully insured to take care of pets in their home and yours.
Jacky's pet sitting and dog walking services have also been recommended by Sheffield's PJ Dog Training.

What our clients say
We are always extremely grateful when we receive kind letters and emails from our clients. Please find some extracts below.
"Jacky has looked after our cat Tabby on several occasions and I am very satisfied with the service that she provides.
She is reliable, friendly and helpful, not only feeding and caring for Tabby but also playing with her and cuddling. As Tabby is diabetic, Jacky has also had to administer daily insulin injections.
Jacky was very helpful in watering plants, opening and closing curtains, putting bins out for collection and generally looking after the house while we were away.
I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter."
Andy, Heeley (Tabby)
"We first met Jacky quite by chance but at a time when we were looking for someone reliable/dependable and trustworthy to look after and walk Hugo our black Lab when our work commitments necessitated someone to help us. Having someone dependable, who you can trust is clearly important, as is the peace of mind which comes from knowing our pet is as well looked after as the way we'd look after him ourselves. For us, Jacky delivers on all this and more, even bringing the post in and taking the wheelie bin up the path on bin day: all the little things that together, make a big difference. Just the mention of Jacky's name sets Hugo's tail wagging now! If you're looking for what we were then stop, you've found it."
Mark and Liz,
Beauchief (Hugo)
"Jacky cared for our dog Bengy whilst we were away on holidays. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we were let down at the last minute and Jacky quickly and efficiently came to our rescue.
I am always wary of finding someone on a website, and trusting them with a key to your house is a very daunting thought, but within minutes of meeting Jacky I knew I had found the right person.
Friendly, trustworthy and an obvious lover of dogs, our rescue dog Bengy was won over in minutes. Jacky didn't mind that he had issues – dislikes other dogs, fretful and serial escaper to name a few.
Bengy certainly made sure that he made it slightly less than pleasant for Jacky, on more than one occasion she had been left little “parcels” for her to deal with on her morning visits and after one particularly bad night, she ended up having to take his dog basket to the launderette, but she took this all in her stride. I even sent Jacky a text message from my holidays and asked her to increase her visits, which she did ensuring that I could enjoy my holiday with peace of mind that Bengy was fine.
The daily pet diaries she leaves are a treat when you get home and even both sets of parents who were popping in said they enjoyed reading them.
If you are thinking of hiring Jacky, do not hesitate. I am certainly using her again and again. My only worry is that you will love her as much as I do, then she won't have availability the next time that I go away!"
Katie Tompkin, Dronfield Woodhouse (Bengy)
"We have always found Jacky to be dependable and punctual. Her calm and caring nature soon won our rather excitable bunch over. We liked how quickly she remembered each dog's name and personality and that she gives us an update after her visits. We are always happy and confident to have Jacky come in and look after our dogs when we are out, we know they are in good hands. Thank you."
Phil and Jan

"Thanks for everything, was lovely knowing the cats were being taken care of by someone who obviously has a love of animals. I will definitely be in touch next time I need someone."
Nicola,

"Just a line to thank you so much for looking after Willow while we were away. You are so obviously an “animal” person that we were completely confident that all would be well. We will certainly recommend you to our friends and relatives and will no doubt be asking for your services again ourselves. Many thanks."
