MEET THE TEAM
Heather Smith is English born but grew up and spent most of her life living in Australia. She moved back to the UK in 2012 with her partner and worked for a short while in retail, however she always dreamt of being able to working with animals.
They have a Dachshund named Chelsea who they brought over from Australia with them to start their new life together in England. Over her life, Heather has had many pets, including cats, dogs, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, even hermit crabs!
When the chance arose to join the team at Paw Pals Romford, Heather didn’t hesitate to take the opportunity and hasn’t looked back since.
She loves spending her days looking after and walking clients’ little, furry, family members and looks after them with the same amount of care and attention that she would if they were her own.
John Clarke was delighted to join Paw Pals in 2011, soon after retiring. He now enjoys spending his days being out and about whilst looking after his new four legged friends.
He has formed close bonds with many of the dogs that he’s walked every day since joining Paw Pals and is very happy that he now has the opportunity to work with pets and at the same time keeping fit and active, the perfect combination!
Having always been an animal lover, John has owned many different pets over the years. He currently has two cats of his own, Posh and Ellie (who are mum and daughter) and a baby tortoise called Dave.
John is married to Linda and they have two grown up sons and two grandchildren. When he’s not out dog walking or cat feeding, John loves spending time with his family and is a very keen gardener.
