“This is the first time our nearly 3 year old Cockerpoo Dog called Chester has stayed with anyone other than family. “ Bella and Bo write: We have stayed with Carol a few times now and have always enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately, the last time we stayed Bella was taken very ill. Luckily, this was spotted by Carol who got her to the emergency vet, and then her own vet, very quickly. Carol let our Mum and Dad know what was going on as they were away on holiday. The vets did everything they could and Carol (and Helen) gave Bella extra love and attention. It’s never nice to be ill but Carol and Helen really looked after Bella well until Mum and Dad came home. So, if you are ever looking for somewhere to stay while your parents are away you cannot go wrong with Carol and Helen. Thank you as always Carol!”

“Carol looked after our 7 cats when we were on holiday for a week. Two of them need regular medication and they all use the indoor litter trays (even though they have a cat-flap and can go outdoors !) and Carol managed both of these without any problems. Two of them are also quite elderly and need coaxing to eat enough, and Carol took the time to sit with them and make sure that they all ate enough at meal times. We returned home to 7 relaxed cats and a clean house. We can wholeheartedly recommend Carol and Paw-pals as pet-sitters if you are going away: it is cheaper than the cattery and less stressful for both the animals and their owners. Most importantly, the animals are looked after in their own homes where they are most comfortable.”

I would have absolutely no hesitation is using her services again and in fact am about to book her for another holiday period coming up. Bella loved her and was excited every day to go on her walks. “During our holiday Carol would send me regular e-mail updates and photo’s of Max. Max actually had his 14th birthday with Carol and Carol followed my request for his birthday to the letter. Max formed quite a bond with Ginnie, with the 2 of them running round the garden, playing like a couple of 4 year olds. Carol clearly loves animals and made Max very welcome. So much so, that when I went to collect him, he was initially reluctant to leave his comfy bed !! I have been so pleased with the service Carol provided that I have already booked Max in again for 2 weeks in October and for a week at New Year. I just know that he will be very well cared for and have a lovely time.”

“We have been lucky enough to have the services of Carol from Paw Pals to look after our 2 cocker spaniels and a grumpy cat at our home whilst we were on holiday. We were away for 3 weeks and had daily updates from Carol including photos and videos.
The video of our two spaniel pups talking to us whilst on holiday was a big hit! It was clear that our very active dogs were being treated to plenty of walks including trips to their favourite Attingham Park and Haughmond Hill. Not only were our pets well cared for but we knew that our home was also being looked after. It gave us peace of mind and enabled us to have a great holiday without worrying about either our pets and our home.
Carol was very professional, ensuring that everything was covered should there be any problems whilst we were away. She came prior to our holiday to take details regarding where fuse boxes were, stop cock for water, insurance details etc. It felt like every eventuality had been covered or considered.
Carol has also helped us on several occasions walking our dogs when we have been away for long periods during the day following family illness. At a time when we were under stress Carol helped ensure that we had one less responsibility to worry about.
